Olivia “Liv” Perrotto created the Asteroid character — a small Shiba Inu in a spacesuit — which flew aboard the Polaris Dawn mission as a zero-gravity indicator. The story resonated across space and internet culture and became a small, hopeful symbol of curiosity.
ASTEROID XRPL is inspired by that cultural moment. The crew behind this token is simply a group of XRPL community members who wanted to build something original in that spirit — not to claim, own or continue Liv's legacy.
